ROSEMONT PRESSURE TRANSMITIERS Consumers Powe'r Company was requested by Mr G Imbro (NRG) on March 27, 1980 to -
provide additional information on the Palisades Plant pressurizer pressure tr~nsmitters. Rosemont (Model 1151) pressure transmitters are presently being used.
The manufacturer states that these transmitters are reliable for a
. 5 x 105 rad.field and could be seismically qualified by a similarity process.
Consumers Power believes that these transmitters are acceptable for the interim.
Rosemont {Model 1153). pressure transmitters,* which are seismically qual:~.f.:i.. ~d
- and re.liable_ for a. 108 rad. field; are on order.
The.delivery time is ap-proximately seven months.
These transmitters will replace the Rosemont 1151 transmitters*the first time the Palisades Plant is taken to cold shutdown after the material and certification is received on site.
