Powe.r Company is informing the NRC by this letter that the Palisades Plant Contairiment Building Tendon Surveillance Program will not be conducted in.1980 but rescheduled for 1981.
Paragraph 4.0.2 of the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications allows an extension to a test or surveillance program time interval not to exceed 25% cf the specific interval.
The one-year postponement of the Containment Building Tendon Surveillance Program falls within the limits specified in this Technical Specification.
This test was last conducted in 1975 which demonstrated that no abnormal degradation of the containment buildings post tensioning system has occurred.
