  • DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR-20 PALISADES PLANT FOLLOW-UP RELATING TO FEEDWATER PIPE CRACKING On October 25, 1.979, Consumers Power Company presented preliminary findings and proposed corrective action relating to feedwater pipe cracks at the Palisades Plant (reference le~ter dated November 26, 1979 from D P Hoffman to D L Ziem~nn).

Subsequently, Dick.Silver of your staf.f requested that Consum*ers Power C.ompany commit to a reinspection of the feedwater pipe during our next refueling outage.

As indi,cated in our October 25, 1979 presentation, Consumers Power Company's long~term corrective actions include participating in the utility owners' group evaluating.the problem and inspecting the app~opriate regions of tl:ie feedwater lines d*uring the.next refueling outage.

This inspection is a part of our normal ISI program and will be reported in the regular ISI reports.
