SUMMARY

OF MEETING WITH THE COMBUSTION ENGINEERING OWNERS GROUP, OCTOBER 25, 1979, ON ASYMMETRIC LOCA LOADS The Combustion Engineering Owners Group met with the staff on October 25, 1979, to discuss their progress and schedule for resolution of the Asymmetric LOCA Loads Evaluation.

The OE Owners informed the staff that they anticipated an additional slip (See Meeting Summary with CE Owners June 28, 1979} in their schedule.

The new schedule projects the fin'al plant evaluations to be completed in September 1979.

The staff has reviewed the Combustion Engineering *Owners progress to date and their projected schedule.

The staff recommends that the following stipulations be met by each licensee:

l., A report should be submitted 2n each pl ant docket on or before February 15, 1980. This is consistant with the two year requirement from receipt of our letter,to licensees(January 25, 1978).

This report should include as a minimum the following:

evalu~tion of the reactor vessel supports; evaluation of the component supports; evaluation of the attached ECCS piping; and a. statement addressing the justification for continued operation pending completion of the required evaluation..

The final report including the completed evaluation for each plant should be submitted on the docket no later than July 1, 1980.
