Tonics_VI-7.D - Long Term Cooling Passive Failure3 NRC deleted this topic for BWR' s indicating that it was a PWR topic.

Now it appear~_; that the NRC would delete this topic for PWRs as well since "there are no current criteria".

This being the case, one could draw the conclusion that the -topic isn't really a safety issue.

We sugge-st you place the topic in the-

"Ongciing Generic Licensing Activity"- status.

This would be consistent with the NRC decision to place three siI!l:ilar topics ( V-7, VII-4, VII-5) in that categocy.
