UPDATE OF INSERVICE INSPECTION (ISI) PROGRAM SUBMITTALS By letters dated August 13, 1976 and January 4, 1977, you requested that the Palisades Plant Technical Specifications and Inservice Inspection Program be revised to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Section 50.55a.
Consumers Power Company responded with submittals dated March 1, 1977, May 3, 1977, October 7, 1977, January 13, 1978 and June 13, 1978.
The present sub-mittal provides a further update to our valve testing program.
Relief requests are enclosed in accordance with 10 CFR 50, Section 50.55a(g)(6)(i) for those cases where it is impractical to meet the requirements of the AS:ME Code.
It is requested that you complete your review of our proposed Technical Speci-fications changes and Inservice Inspection Program prior to June 1979,so that we may complete all necessary preparations for the ISI work that is to be done during the 1979 refueling outage.
