Rosenthal, Chief Reactor Operations Analysis Branch Division of Safety Programs Office for Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Data BWR OVERFILL EVENTS RESULTING IN STEAM LINE FLOODING Enclosed is an AEOD Engineering Evaluation report on BWR overfill events that have resulted in the flooding of steam lines.
These events were determined to involve deficiencies in control systems.
Accordingly, we are forwarding this report for your information and consideration in the resolution of USI A-47, "Safety Implications of Control Systems."
