This letter responds to the NRC October 6,
- 1997, request for additional information regarding the BFN Unit 3 ASME Section XI Inservice Inspection Program for the Second Ten-Year Inspection Interval.
TVA submitted the BFN Unit 3, ASME Section XI Inservice Inspection
- Program, for the Second Ten-Year Interval, by letter dated January 22, 1997.
The Code of record for the Second Ten-Year Inspection Interval, which began November 19,
- 1996, is the 1989 Edition (no addenda) of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel
- Code,Section XI.
The enclosure to this letter contains the specific staff
- requests, and the corresponding TVA responses.
TVA has previously responded to NRC questions regarding requests for relief 3-ISI-1, 3-SPT-1, 3-SPT-3, and 3-SPT-4 under separate correspondence.
