BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 2 AND 3 CORRECTION OF APPENDIX R SAFE SHUTDOWN SAFETY EVALUATION (TAC NO. H85254)
Dear Hr. Kingsley:
On November 2, 1995, the NRC staff issued a safety evaluation (SE) for the 10 CFR 50 Appendix R safe shutdown program for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant Units 2 and 3.
Subsequent discussions with your staff revealed a discrepancy in this SE where information provided by the Tennessee Valley Authority on October 5, 1995 was mischaracterized.
Accordingly, the affected page of the SE has been revised.
The NRC staff finds that the revision does not affect the staff's overall conclusion that the BFN Appendix R safe shutdown program is acceptable.
The revised SE page is enclosed.
