L Tennessee Valley Authority, Post Olfice Box 2000, Decatur. Alabama 35609 July 17, 1995 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission ATTN: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555 Gentlemen:

In the Matter of Docket Nos. 50-259 Tennessee Valley Authority 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO TVA LETTER DATED MARCH 30I 1995'NNUAL RADIOLOGICAL EFFLUENT RELEASE (ARER) REPORT JANUARY THROUGH DECEMBER 1994 The purpose of this letter is to revise Table 9 (Total Dose from Fuel Cycle) provided in Enclosure 1, page El-16 of TVA's letter to NRC dated March 30, 1995. Specifically, TVA revised the second quarter dose data (i.e., critical organ dose (air)) from 1.2E-03 to 1.2E-02. Consequently, this revision effected the second quarter total dose data and cumulative total dose data. The total second quarter dose changed from 1.6E-02 to 2.7E-02 and the cumulative dose changed from 9.5E-02 to 1.1E-01. These changes are due to an error in the original response.

The enclosure to this letter contains the revised Table 9.

There are no commitments contained in this letter. If you have any questions, please contact me at (205) 729-2636.

Sincerely, Pe -
