TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (TVA) NUCLEAR POWER RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PLAN (REP)
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF REVISION TO THE TVA REP Enclosed is a proposed revision to Appendix A of TVA's REP.
This proposed revision reflects replacing the current NUREG-0654 based Emergency Action Levels (EAL) for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (BFN) with the R.G.1.101 NUMARC EAL methodology.
The enclosed revision will replace what is currently pages A-1 through A-93 of Appendix A, in its entirety.
A cross-reference of the proposed BFN EALs to the NUMARC EALs is included as well as a deviation document that provides explanation for any deviations from NUMARC methodology.
Your review and approval of this revision is requested prior to implementation.
We would appreciate a response within 90 days if possible.
