In the Matter Of Tennessee Valley Authority Docket Nos.
50-259 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSE TO TVA LETTER DATED MAY 23I 1994'ENERIC LETTER 92-01/
REVISION 1 REACTOR VESSEL STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY The purpose of this letter is to supplement TVA's response in Reference 1 for BFN Units 1, 2, and 3.
This supplement includes General Electric (GE) Topical Report, NED0-32205-A, Revision 1, upper shelf energy equivalent margin analysis verification forms.
These forms contain information pertaining to the reactor vessel materials for each unit.
In Reference 2,
NRC requested in part that TVA provide the following:
"For BFN Units 1, 2, and 3, we request that, within 30 days of receipt of this letter, you provide confirmation of the plant-specific applicability of the topical
- report, NED0-32205, Revision 1 (as specified in Appendix B of that report),
and TVA provided BFN's response to NRC's request in Reference 1.
TVA,'s response confirmed GE Topical Report, NEDO 32205I Revision 1, applicability to the BFN Units.
- However, TVA inadvertently omitted the upper shelf energy equivalent margin analysis verification forms contained in Appendix B of the NEDO document.
