2017-02, Revision 0, Temporary Liquid Waste System

==

Description:==

This activity installs a mobile temporary liquid waste system to process waste water from potentially radioactive contaminated areas at the LACBWR facility.

Summary: Operation of the temporary liquid waste system maintains the requirements of the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual. An evaluation has concluded malfunctions of the system result in consequences that are bounded by the liquid waste accident described in Chapter 4 of the Decommissioning Plan and Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report which is the site Safety Analysis Report equivalent document.

2017-04, Revision 0, Temporary Airborne Effluent Monitoring System

==

Description:==

This activity removes the discussion of the Post Accident Sampling System and the ventilation stack from the Decommissioning Plan and Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report as these systems are no longer required. To replace the previous airborne monitoring systems, portable air sampling will be established in applicable areas where the potential for airborne releases due to decommissioning activities will occur.

Summary: Operation of portable airborne samplers maintains the requirements of the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual and Decommissioning Plan and Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report. The consequences of remaining postulated airborne events continue to be bounded by the airborne release accident described in Chapter 4 of the Decommissioning Plan and Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report which is the site Safety Analysis Report equivalent document.
