SUMMARY
OF DECEMBER 7, 2017, CLOSED PRE-SUBMITTAL MEETING WITH GENERAL ELECTRIC-HITACHI AND GLOBAL NUCLEAR FUEL REGARDING THE UPCOMING SUBMITTAL OF A TOPICAL REPORT CONCERNING CONTROL ROD DROP ACCIDENTS On December 7, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held a Topical Report (TR) pre-submittal meeting at NRC Headquarters to discuss the upcoming submittal of a Control Rod Drive Accident Methodology TR. The meeting was closed to public participation because General Electric-Hitachi proprietary information was discussed. A publicly available version of the GE-H/GNF presentation slides for the meeting can be accessed from the NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession number ML18008A283. Meeting participants are listed in the enclosure.
