290 HIGH PRESSURE COOLANT INJECTION (HPCI)/REACTOR CORE ISOLATION COOLING (RCIC) STEAM LINE SPACE HIGH TEMPERATURE ISOLATIONS In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50 ' and 50.90, TVA is submitting a request for an amendment to license DPR-52 to change the BFN TSs for Unit 2 (Enclosure 1). The proposed amendment will incorporate new allowable values for the HPCI and RCIC steam line space instruments channels in Table 3.2.B, revise Table 3.2.B to delete note 4 and add note 1 E, revise Tables 3 GAB and

4.2.B to distinguish between specific areas where steam line temperature is being monitored, and revise bases section 3 ' to be consistent with the other changes.

A summary of the proposed changes is provided in Enclosure 2 The reason and

justification for the proposed changes is provided in Enclosure 3. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in Enclosure 4.

TVA requests that these changes be made effective 30 days after iiRC approval.
