NO. 287 REACTOR PRESSURE INSTRUMENT CHANNEL UNIT 2 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.4 and 50.90, we are submitting a request for an amendment to license DPR-52 to change the BFN Technical Specifications for Unit' (Enclosure 1). This proposed amendment will result in a more accurate pressure setpoint.

A summary of the proposed change is provided in Enclosure 2. The reason and justification for the proposed change is provided in Enclosure 3. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in Enclosure 4.

TVA requests that these changes be made effective 30 days after NRC approval.
