SUMMARY
Scope:
This special,
announced
inspection
was
conducted
to evaluate
the licensee's
overall nuclear material accountability
and control program and to follow-up on
an inventory anomaly
and apparent failure of the licensee's
inventory control
systems.
Results:
Several
apparent
violations were identified concerning
the failure to develop
and follow procedures
to adequately
control special
nuclear material.
Previous
occurrences
in these
areas
had resulted
in special
attention
by the
NRC as
reported
in
NRC Inspection
