Contained ao enclosures to this letter are:

Enclosure 1 provides replacement pages to Volume I of the Appendix R Engineering Evaluation that. reflect, the changes of Revision 2 and Revision 3.

Please remove the outdated pages and replace with the pages provided.

Enclosure 2 is the calculation ND-Q2999-880160 Revision 2, "Appendix R-Required Mechanical Equipment for a Unit 2 Safe Shutdown."

Enclosure 3 is the calculation ED-QOOOO-88489 Revision 7, "Appendix R-Tabulation of Equipment Power Supplies and Detailing Criteria for the Auxiliary Power System (APS)."

It io necessary to clarify that Volume I of the Appendix R Engineering Evaluation, Revisions 1, 2, and 3 reflect changes in the evaluation supporting unit. 2 operation only.

These changes resulted from Sequoyah lessons learned and internal review of BFH's Appendix R program.

Please note that TVA, does revise calculationo if necessary.

However since it is not regular practice to provide HRC with docketed calculations, TVA does not consider it necessary to provide HRC with any future revision of these calculations.
