50-260 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) RESPONSE TO LIST OF SUBMITTALS NEEDED FROM TVA TO SUPPORT RESTART This letter is in response to your letter from S.
C. Black to S. A. White, dated October 17,
- 1988, which provided a list of the submittals which the NRC staff needed from TVA to support NRC decisions regarding unit 2 restart.
This list contained several submittals whose completion dates were considered by TVA to be regulatory commitments.
TVA committed to these submittal completion dates in a letter from R. Gridley to NRC, dated October 7, 1988.
This letter also contained some submittals whose completion dates were based on discussions between BFN Site Licensing and the NRC's Project Manager.
Enclosure 1 to this letter provides the staff with actual'ubmi'tta'1 dates or a committed completion date for all submittals discussed in the staff's letter.
New committed submittal dates are annotated.
This enclosure reflects the status of the submittals as of October 26, 1988.
As a matter of standard working practice, TVA wi 11 continue to verbally provide the staff with internal target completion dates for all submittals as a courtesy to assist in the planning and scheduling of the manpower required to review and resolve these issues.
TVA will provide formal commitments for submittal completion dates on the docket, when requested.
