Dear Hr. Honeycutt:
BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) LANDFILL PERMIT NO. 42-02 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT This is in response to your August 30, 19BB letter regarding additional regulations for facilities having landfill disposal permits.
A copy of BFN procedure PHI 25.4 (Plant Hanager's Instruction) is enclosed which governs the operation and daily inspection of BFN's onsite land-fill, and the types of materials that may be disposed in it.
Wastes generated at BFN, not specified by the permit, are handled in strict accordance witt the enclosed procedure and are managed as either hazardous waste or special waste as appropriate.
Additionally, BFN does not accept wastes from. anyone-outside site boundaries.
