3. This amendment implements the recommendations contained in Generic Letter 84-15," "Proposed Staff Actions to Improve and Maintain Diesel Generator Reliability. In discussions with the staff, it has been determined that a revision to the initial submittal is required to better implement the recommendations of the generic letter. Enclosure 1 contains the revisions.

This amendment has been identified as a restart requirement and assigned NRC tracking numbers 00092, 00093, and 00094 for units 1, 2 and 3 respectfully.

It should be noted this submittal is a supplement to the initial submittal.
