This proposed amendment will delete an inappropriate action from Table 3.1.A, Reactor Protection System (SCRAM) Instrumentation Requirements. It will also make some other minor clarifi.cations.

Description, reason for change, and justification in support of the proposed changes are enclosed (enclosure 2). A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in enclosure 3.

Enclosed is a check for the 4150 amendment fee required by 10 CFR Part 170.12.
