50-259 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRX NUCLEAR PLANT TVA BFNP TS 222 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 and 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-S2, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (enclosure 1).
These proposed specifications provide the reactor coolant leakage monitoring requirements requested in NRC's letter from Marshall Grotenhuis to S. A. White dated March 26, 1986.
Description, reason for change, and justification in support of the proposed changes are enclosed (enclosure 2).
A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided in enclosure 3.
Our technical specification retyping effort described in a letter from me to you dated July 15, 1986 has caused some delay in submitting technical specification amendment requests.
In an effort to expedite the technical specification change process, we are submitting these changes on the retyped technical specification pages as we believe they will appear when released.
We do not believe this will present any problems since the retyped technical specifications should be in effect before this amendment can be issued.
Enclosed is a check for the 4150 amendment fee required by 10 CFR Part 170.12.
