Dear Mr. Denton:
In the Matter of the Tennessee Valley Authority Docket No. 50-260 This is to notify you that TVA is withdrawing its pending request for Browns Ferry unit 2 Appendix R schedular exemption.
The request is dated June 30, 1982 as supplemented March 27, June 5 and 12, August 14 and 23, October 1,
1984, April 2, and September 23, 1985.
In response to R.
M. Bernero's letter to me dated March 26, 1986, I have reconsidered the request for exemption to 10 CFR 50 Appendix R.
My goal is to fully comply with 10 CFR 50 Appendix R prior to restart of Browns Ferry unit 2.
I will advise you should situations or circumstances arise that could preclude us from fully meeting this goal.
