SUMMARY
OF MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 25, 1979 TO DISCUSS THE SUS(UEHANNA, UNITS 1
AND 2 REVIEW SCHEDULE On October 25, 1979, a meeting was held between representatives of Pennsylvania Power and Light Company (PPBL) and the NRC staff.
PP8L re-quested the meeting to discuss the status of the Susquehanna, Units 1
and 2
review schedule.
An attendee list is enclosed.
PPSL was advised that the present review schedule indicates the following:
SER issuance ACRS SSER issuance Hearing start PDD July 1980 September 1980 October 1980 November 1980 March 1981 We pointed out that the last Caseload Forecast Panel visit to the site projected a fuel load for Unit 1 of March 1981.
We further pointed out that
.the Panel would again visit the site in early 1980 in order to determine whether the March 1981 fuel load date required modification.
PP8L stated that they had updated their fuel load projections to April 1981 for Unit 1
and July 1982 for Unit 2.
PPIlL was advised that certain portions of the review would be performed by personnel at the various National Laboratories and that the NRC was in the process of having Susquehanna FSAR's forwarded to those groups.
We stated it would take some time to bring those groups up to speed and that our abil,ity to meet the schedule provided above would depend to a great extent
rlOV o '3(3 on the laboratory personnel.
We agreed to notify PPSL regarding any changes to the above schedule as soon as we were aware of the changes.
