SUBJECT:

SUMMARY

OF HOVEflBER 28, 1978 MANAGEMENT MEETING CONCERNIHG THE SUSQUEHANNA REVIEW SCHEDULE The licensing schedule prepared for the.Susquehanna OL application was based on the Caseload Forecast Panel's estimate that the 'fuel load date for Susquehanna Unit Ho.

1 will be December 1980.

The applicant!s fuel load.date 'is Nay 1980.

A'management meeting was held at the request of "

the applicant to discuss the HRC licensing schedule.

The attendees list is enclosed.

The applicant at the time of the Ca'seload Forecast Panel Meeting in 'May 1978 recognized that their May 1980 fuel load date was slipping.

Therefore.its allocated additional resources hand renegotiated various contracts in order to meet the Nay 1980 date.

Since then installation rates for various materials such as conduit, wire and cable ect.,

We agreed to re-evaluate the review schedule to assure that the licensing and construction schedules are compatible after (1) the first round questions are complete, (2) the applicant has assessed when the responses to the questions will-be provided and (3) the Caseload Forecast Panel in March or April updates its evaluation of the construction schedule.
