SUBJECT:

SUSQUEHANNA FSAR CHAPTER 14 MEETING

SUMMARY

A meeting was held with the NRC staff and PP&L.on January 15, 1981 to discuss the applicant responses to staff outstanding questions and to discuss the staff's interpretation of the Susquehanna initial test program.

The attached listing shows the meetinq attendees.

PP&L. discussed their draft responses to outstanding staff questions and stated that the final responses would be issued on Februarv 13,. 1981.

During the meeting the NRC staff requested:

(1) assurance of the 60 day notice to the resident inspector for new test procedures, (2) assurance that the operational tests are being done and verified, (3) assurance that FSAR ChaptI r 14 reasonably reflects the recent modifications to Chapter 7,

and (4) assurance that the changes to annunciator preoperational tests will produce an equivalent level of testing.

PP&L will respond to these staff questions in a meeting scheduled for February 13, 1981.
