Please refer to L. M. Mills'etter to J.

P. O'Reilly dated September 10, 1984 regarding Inspection Report 84-10 for our Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

We

-indicated in that letter we would complete the review and revision of a number of chemical surveillance instructions by January 31, 1985.

However, due to manpower limitations, these procedures will not be completed until F b 28 1985.

Currently there are 40 procedures which have been PORC le.

This reviewed and 35 additional procedures which are in the approval cyc e.

s matter was discussed between Bill Ruland of your staff and Mike Hellums of my staff on January 30, 1985. If you have any questions, please call Bob Alsup at FTS 858-2725.

To the best of my knowledge, I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.
