-296/84-20) for our Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant.

Item 5.B o ove response committed that design studies describing required modifications would be complete by January 1,

1985.

Preliminary design has been, completed and is undergoing review by the plantstaff.

Finalization of the design concept will not be complete until May "1,'985.

L The applicable LER (LER BFRO 50-259/84022, revision 2) has been revised (LER BFRO 50-259/84022,'Revision 3,'dated, December 28, 1984) to reflect the May 1, 1985 date.
