50-259 50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Parts 50.59 and 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3 (enclosure 1).
The proposed specifications add additional cable tray fixed water spray systems and clarify test requirements.
Description and Justification for the changes are provided as enclosure 2.
Submittal of these specifications is being made to meet a commitment made in the "Plan for Evaluation,
- Repair, and Return to Service of Browns Ferry Units 1 and 2 (March 22, 1975 Five)."
This commitment was restated in TVA's response to IE Inspection Report 84-15, letter from L, M. Mills to J. P. O'Reilly dated August 1,
1984".
Submittal of the specifications by May 9, 1985 was discussed in my letter to Dr. J. Nelson Grace dated March 4, 1985.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(a)(1) the determination of no significant hazards consideration is provided as enclosure 3.
Enclosed is a check for the
$ 150 amendment fee required by 10 CFR Par t 170.
