50-260 By my letter to you dated October 15, 1982 we submitted a request for technical specification change TVA BFNP TS 179 for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant unit 2.
That request was needed to accommodate reload 4
cycle 5 operation of unit 2 and outage-related modifications.
Also, by my letter to you dated November 17, 1982 we submitted TS 179 Supplement 1
with proposed specification changes needed because of modifications being done on the unit 2 scram discharge volume.
Enclosed are additional changes needed to reflect surveillance testing of the Browns Ferry electrical system (Enclosure 1).
Additional description and justification for the changes are also included (Enclosure 2).
Me continue to need approval by January 12, 1983 as stated in the October 15, 1982 letter.
Class III fees totaling $4,000 were forwarded with the October 15 letter.
Because the enclosed change is a minor addition to the previous submittal, we do not believe additional fees are needed.
Accordingly none will be forwarded.
