Very few ean be installed during unit operation since conduit and cable installations, including electrical tie-ins, could compromise safety systems because of intexference from x;igging and. scaffolding as well as from the movement of tools, equipment, and personnel.

Lights which could be installed during operation, if the manpower and associated resources were avaQ.able, axe those lights in the diesel generator and xadwaste buildings and some lights in the turbine building.

The schedule for installation of the eight-houx'mergency lighting to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix R, Section III.J, was submitted on October 28, 1981 as part of our integrated deferral schedul~.

Revision 1 to the integrated schedule was submitted July 15, 1982 and provided the schedule presently in use for allocation of resources needed to perform commitment modifications.

This schedule shows the installation of lights, battery pack, conduit and cable to main powex feeds to be completed during the unit 2, cycle 4; unit 1, cycle 5; and unft 3, cycle 5 outages for the respective units.
