1981, we submitted revisions to the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant Physical Security Plan made pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p).

By letter from T. A. Ippolito to H. G. Parris dated May 19, 1981 we were informed that the NRC staff did not agree that certain of the changes made were consistent with those provisions.

Enclosed is our response to that letter.

The enclosure contains security-related information that is exempt from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.790.

We, therefore, request that the enclosed response not be placed in the Public Document Room.
