In the Matter of the Tennessee Valley Authority Docket Nos. 50-259 50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units,1, 2,
and 3.
These proposed changes define fire dampers, fire
- doors, and surveillance requirements for fire barrier penetrations and supplement the request for license amendment submitted by my letter to you dated March 4, 1981.
The proposed changes reflect BWR Standard Technical Specification wording and should require minimal review by your staff.
Therefore, your most expeditious approval is requested.
Based on the fact that the proposed changes are a supplement to the March 4,
- 1981, request for license amendment, we do not believe that additional fees are appropriate, and accordingly, none will be forwarded.
