Docket Nos. 50-259 50-260 50-296 In accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to licenses DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 to change the technical specifications of the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant units 1, 2, and 3.
This requested amendment is submitted in response to a letter from T.
A. Ippolito to H. G. Parris dated January 2,
- 1981, and supplements my letter to you dated September 9,
1980 (TVA BFNP TS 149).
The January 2,
1981, letter requested that TVA submit proposed technical specifications for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant which address:
(1) Emergency Power Supply/Inadequate Core Cooling and (2) relief and safety valve position indication.
Enclosed is our response for item 1 (Enclosure
- 1) and the proposed technical specifications regarding relief and safety valve position indication (Enclosure 2).
This has been discussed with R. J. Clark and D. Virelli of your staff in a conference call on January 23, 1981.
Based on the fact that the requested changes are a supplement to TS 149 dated September 9,
- 1980, we do not believe additional fees are appropriate, and accordingly, none will be forwarded.
