Dear Mr. Parr:

In response to your letter of October 28, 1977, regarding containment loads resulting from operation of safety relief valves, PP&L plans to proceed. with a Susquehanna unique analysis to determine what impact exists on the Susquehanna plant. Due to GE's commitments f'r this analysis on Mark III and other plants, PP&L will be unable to submit the resu1ts until March 1978. If design changes prove to be necessary for Susquehanna, they will be identified at that time.
