INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT NRC-HQ-25-16-T-0007/M0002 This confirms the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) acceptance of the attached Agreement for work to be performed by Argonne National Laboratory (Argonne).

The work performed by Argonne will be in accordance with DOE's contract with UChicago Argonne, LLC, for the operation of Argonne (Contract No. DE-AC02-06-CH11357).
Consistent with the Department of Energy's (DOE) full cost recovery policy, DOE collects, as part of its standard indirect cost rate, a Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LORD) cost.
Based on the amount offunds accepted for this project, $1,398.06 represents an estimated amount that will be used for LORD efforts. The Dep~rtment of Energy believes that LDRD efforts
- provide opportunities in research that are instrumental in maintaining cutting-edge science capabilities that benefit all of the customers at the laboratory. The Department will conclude that by providing funds to DOE to perform work, you acknowledge that such activities are beneficial to your organization and consistent with appropriations acts that provide funds to you.
Argonne is authorized to proceed.
