This letter is in reference to 'the.storage of spent nuclear fuel at the Susquehanna Steam and.
Electric Station at.the Bell Bend site.
This is my formal objection. to such an arrangerent.
On the 20th of Se'tember.
T. wrote a letter con-cerning this subject to hir.
Vim. H. Regan Jr., chief of environmental projects.
Xn respense to this letter, T. received a telehone call from a sh".
(Singhay) of the office..'t

~ the s-ent fuel would. be stored, at the site-only until it would be safe to ship it to a storage site.
This he said would be a maximum o'f Six months. Ihuing t'ris conver-sation i was informed tiat a team from the ibRC would.
be in this area to inspect the 'plant site on. the 17th and 18th of October and. they would. stop by our home d dis'cuss these issues with me.
yI On the ll~h of October a'ery. small article appeared in our local paper concerning the storage of tne spent fuel at the Bell Bend site.
This article couldn't have been any sm-lier.
Zn fact it contained three sentences.'o say the least it went unnoticed by the majority of ~he area residents.
- However, when the team made their visit to our home, I questioned i. Singhay (who was accompanied by
