Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 Attn:
Mr. Wm. H. Regan,'Jr.,
Chief Environmental Projects Branch 3
SUSQUEHANNA SES COMPLIANCE WITH APPENDIX I GUIDELINES ER 100450 FILE 840-2 PLA-124 Docket Nos.
50-387
& 50-388
Dear Mr. Regan:
In an October 8, 1975 letter from Mr. Daniel Muller, two options were described by which we could submit for NRC review and approval the means we propose to use to keep the levels'of radioactive effluents from Susquehanna SES to unrestricted areas as low as is reasonably achievable in accordance with Appendix I guidelines.
We have completed the neces-sary calculations and have concluded that the levels of radioactive effluents from Susquehanna SES meet the Appendix I guidelines.
Conse-
- quently, we will include the information requested in Enclosure 1 of the October 8 letter in our "Environmental Report Operating License Stage."
If there are any questions, please call.
Very truly yours,
)
