Gentlemen:

The Susquehanna Steam Electric Station is located ia Luzerae County.

The Draft Environmeatal Statemenc (NUREG-0564) of the.U.

S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission was reviewed by the Luzerae County Planning Commission on August 9, 1979, at its regular monthly meeting at which a quorum was present.

After due consideration, a motion was made,

seconded, and unanimously carried to make two (2) recommendations to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commis-sionz L.

That aa Emergency Evacuation Plan be completed by the LtLzerne Couaty Civil Defense Agency before the Susque-hanna Steam Electric Station goes into operation; and
