Dear Sir or Madam:
On September 1, 1998, Carolina Power 8r, Light Company (CPSL) requested a Licensed Amendment to revise the Harris Nuclear Plant (HNP) Technical Specifications (TS) 3/4.9.11 related to "Water Level - New and Spent Fuel Pools." As a result of a recently issued License Amendment, CP&L is submitting a retyped TS page which supersedes a page included in the September 1, 1998 submittal.
On October 20, 1998, the NRC issued License Amendment No. 84 to the HNP TS, which revised multiple TS pages as a result of changes to TS 3.0.4 and 4.0.4, "LimitingConditions for Operation and Surveillance Requirements."
Issuance of Amendment 84 independently affected one page, (3/4 9-13), from the September 1, 1998 request, which is currently under NRC review.
Enclosure 1 contains the retyped TS page which incorporates changes resulting from the issuance of Amendment No. 84.
