In accordance with Technical Specification (TS) 6.9.1.6.4, Carolina Power &Light Company hereby submits mid-cycle revisions to the Harris Nuclear Plant (HNP) Cycle 7 Core Operating Limits Report (COLR).
Revision No. 2 incorporates the requirements ofTS 3.3.3.2, Movable Incore Detectors, which were relocated from the TS by Amendment No. 65 to the Facility Operating License issued by the NRC on July 24, 1996. These requirements are located in Section 4.0 ofthe COLR.
Revision No. 3 corrects an error in the V(z) curve (Figure 5 ofthe COLR) which was identified by Siemens Power Corporation during the design process for Cycle 8. While the existing curve would support cycle operation up to 11,000 Mwd/MTU,it would not be conservative for the entire operating cycle. The revised V(z) curve is applicable to the entire exposure range ofthe operating cycle.
