On February 26, 1995, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted the Harris Nuclear Plant (HNP) Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release Report for the period of July 1, 1994 through December 31, 1994.
As noted in NRC Inspection Report 50-400/95-09, dated June 16, 1995, some values in the 1994 report inappropriately repeated the values reported for 1993.
The attachment to this letter provides revised pages with corrected values.
In addition to correcting these values, CP&L has reviewed the entire report for accuracy.
The attached pages include the following additional changes to "Enclosure 4: Major Assumptions Used to Calculate Radiation Doses ":

reflects updated USGS figures for Cape Fear River average flow,
~
corrected reference to the Environmental Report versus the FSAR for Harris I Ne average flow,
~
deletion of Harris I eke as a source of drinking water, and
~
revised the description for the assumption regarding the Maximum Hypothetical Individual.
Inspection Report 95-09, Report Details - Section 5, lists the beta air dose to the Maximum Hypothetical Individual as 8.02 E-2 inrad.
This value should be 8.11 E-2 mrad as shown on the attached page 9/7.
CP&L has also reviewed the report for the first two quarters of 1994.
No discrepanceis were noted in that report.
