Majority ownership of the licensees parent has not changed and nothing in the information provided appears to impact the licensee's management or operations.

Based on my first gleam of the ownership change, I agree that it does not appear to be an indirect change of control requiring NRC review and approval. However, I want to bounce this off my counterparts when Im in the office tomorrow.

Hi Reggie, Could you take a glance at this submittal from GNF-A and let me know if this will need further review.
This letter announces a non-controlling ownership change. Attachment 2 gives an organizational diagram which shows the change. Prior to this, there were 3 entities involved in ownership; General Electric, Toshiba, and Hitachi. GE has owned 60% of Global Nuclear Fuel Holding Co. The remaining 40% was divided between Toshiba (35%
of 40%) and Hitachi (65% of 40%).
Toshiba has dropped out and Hitachi has taken up that slack, with 100% of the 40%.
So there are no new entities involved, but the interest has changed. I dont think it affects the Financial Assurance aspects, because that has always come from GE and that remains unchanged. Can you give me your read and advice.
