On February 23, 2017, Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation (NSPM),

d/b/a Xcel Energy, submitted the Fitness for Duty (FFD) Performance Data Report, including Single Positive Test Forms, for the 12-month period ending December 31, 2016, in accordance with 10 CFR 26.717(e) (Reference). Subsequent to the submittal, an internal assessment determined that a pre-access positive test at Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant (PINGP) had not been entered into the FFD database, and therefore it was not included in the 2016 FFD annual report. The associated single positive test form (NRC Form 890) is enclosed.

In addition, the assessment identified a small number of tests that had been mis-entered into the FFD database for PINGP, Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant, and NSPM corporate.

These errors did not affect the total size of the random testing pool or the annual random testing percentage achieved for the testing period. Accordingly, revised annual reporting forms for drug and alcohol tests (NRC Form 891) are enclosed.
