Staff in the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) advises that there have been only two SGEs onboarded in 2017; both remain with the NRC. For more information about the advisory committees on which they serve, please refer to https://www.nrc.gov/about-nrc/regulatory/advisory/acmui.html and https://www.nrc.gov/about-nrc/regulatory/advisory/
acrs.html. These employees were hired under the authority of Public Laws83-703 and 93-438. Their rate of pay is under the "El" pay plan, which is an executive pay scale. They are paid on an hourly basis at a rate equal to grade 15, step 10.
