On August Z2. 1998, the
NRC completed
an inspection at your Turkey Point
Units 3
8 4 reactor facilities.
The enclosed
report presents
the results of
that inspection.
During the six-week period covered
by this inspection,
your conduct of
activities at Turkey Point was generally characterized
by safety-conscious
operations,
solid engineering
support.
good coordination of maintenance
activities,
and well conducted radiological controls.
During the inspection period. the
NRC received
a response
dated July 27,
1998,
to Notice of Violation 50-250,
251/98-05-01.
We have evaluated your response
and found that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the
implementation of your corrective actions during future inspections.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room
(PDR).
