C. 20555-0001 Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-251 Severe Accident Mana ement uidelines Im lementation The purpose of this letter is to inform you that Florida Power 8c Light Company (FPL) completed implementation of the severe accident management guidelines on July 1, 1997, as stated in FPL letter L-95-25, dated February 1, 1995. FPL implemented the formal industry position on severe accident management approved by the Nuclear Energy Institute's (NEI) Nuclear Strategic Issues Advisory Committee on November 4, 1994, and utilized the implementing guidance contained in NEI Report 91-04, Revision 1, "Severe Accident Issue Closure Guidelines."
