SUBJECT:

PLANT PERFORMANCE REVIEW -

TURKEY POINT

Dear Mr. Goldberg:

On March 16,

1995, NRC managers met to review recent performance at the Turkey Point facility to determine if our present planned inspection effort for the rest of the current SALP cycle should be revised before its end date of August 31, 1996.

The purpose of this letter is to advise you of the results of that review.

At Turkey Point we noted that there were no indications of declining performance.

Changes in the currently scheduled inspection program were not being considered.

The enclosure is a list of planned inspection activities for the remainder of the SALP cycle.

It is our intent to continue semiannual performance reviews in addition to SALP and advise you of the results.

Please understand that the planned actions and dates are subject to change.

We will verbally communicate changes as each activity approaches.

Should you have any questions concerning this

letter, please contact us.

Sincerely, Orig signed by Kerry D. Landi,s Docket Nos.:
