This refers to the requalification inspection
conducted
by Edwin Lea, Jr. of
this office during the weeks of January
17,
and January
30,
1995.
The
inspection
included
a review of activities authorized for your Turkey Point
Plant Units

At the conclusion of the inspection,
the findings were
discussed
with those
members of your staff identified in the enclosed
report.
Areas
examined during the inspection
are identified in the report.
Within
these
areas,
the inspection consisted
of selective
examinations of procedures
and representative
records,
interviews with personnel,
and observation of
activities in progress.
The enclosed
Inspection
Report identifies
an activity that violated
an
NRC
requirement that will not
be subject to enforcement
action
because
the
licensee's
efforts in correcting the violation meet the criteria specified in
Secti'on VII.B of the Enforcement Policy.
In accordance
with 10
CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of
this letter
and its enclosures will be placed in the
NRC Public Document
Room.
